Have you ever worked somewhere where the same name keeps popping up over and over again.
I recently met someone who I have been hearing about for over 20 years.
I was asked to share my story at a safety summit for the UGL business group. One of the other speakers was Professor Patrick Hudson. Now I’ve been sharing my message for years and often I hear a company say that they are building their safety systems based around the ‘Hudson models’ or they are implementing ‘Hudsons Culture Ladder’.
Many times when we meet someone we are slightly disappointed with them in real life, but I’m happy to report that Professor Hudson was as dynamic in person as his systems and studies I’ve heard about over the years.
We had a great couple of chats and he complimented me on my story and how I tell it. I was quite chuffed, lovely to meet you Prof Hudson.
