Woody’s Words – Week 16 – Mobile Phones

Woody's Words

Woody the Safety Bloke talks Mobile Phone!!

Good day everyone, Woody again, hey listen I spend a lot of time in the car, I would much rather drive to places then jump on and off an airplane and one of the things that’s been really pissing me off lately is mobile phones. Now don’t get me wrong, I love my mobile phone, you know, I play games on it.

I can be contacted when I need to be contacted but I think there’s a time and a place for mobile phones. I see a lot of people driving using the phone up to their ear or even trying to send a text message while they’re driving the car and to me that’s just, that’s just unsafe, it’s just dangerous so look I know a lot of us, we love our phones, just really think about when and where you use it. You don’t want to be distracted while you’re driving a car, a vehicle or truck or a piece of machinery. So that’s my little beef for this week, I’m Woody, see you soon.
