James Wood’s story is such a fantastic medium in which to connect with VCE VM students, who are just heading out into the workplace. His book was a great starting point for the students to be able to connect before hearing him speak. Hearing and seeing Woody in person was icing on the cake. Students did not move an inch the whole time he was speaking. He had them engaged from the word ‘go’, highlighting his story but adding in new and unheard parts. I could hear the students chatting about how good he was as they left the presentation.
