Most speakers need to be booked at least two months in advance of the required date. As most of our speakers travel all over Australia, and are often booked for up to a week with one client, we encourage you to contact as soon as you are interested. This allows us to at least look at availability. As a rule of thumb, the earlier you can book your speaker, the better.
At CNB Safe, the safety and mental health speakers we represent are highly professional. As such, they like to be fully briefed on the objectives you have for your site visit/event/safety day etc. well before it takes place. While a CNB Safe Account Manager will talk to you at length and complete a full brief for the speaker, the speaker with also contact you directly via phone or email to discuss any particular focus for the presentation.
Speaker Presentations Times
Please allow up to 60 minutes for Speaker Presentations (unless otherwise advised).
Our Speakers will share their story for about 45 mins (give or take). Please allow time for questions and answers in the group format. If time allows, the Speaker is happy to stay, mingle and chat with your team.
If you would like your presentations to be 30 minutes or 90 minutes please discuss this with your CNB Safe representative so this can be pre-arranged.
Speaker’s fees differ according to the speaker you book and your specific requirements. Fees are calculated based on:
- How many sessions (maximum 2/day)
- Number of people in each session at each site
- Face to face, online, live streaming or hybrid
- Recording of online or live stream
- Safety conference
The best starting point is to let CNB Safe know your requirements; we can then let you know which speakers are best suited to your requirements and provide a quote.
If you cancel more than 28 days prior to the date booked there is no cancellation fee. After this time there is a cancellation fee for each day that is cancelled.
Speakers will come with their PowerPoint presentation on a USB.
You will need to provide a computer (with PowerPoint), data projector and screen.
If a computer and data projector is not available or the presentation is happening outside, please let your CNB Safe representative know so that the Speaker is aware before arrival.
If a microphone is required, especially for James & Greg, a lapel microphone is preferred.
Yes. Due to recent times we now offer online/virtual presentations.
The speaker will present from their home/office. Presentations can be on Teams, Zoom, Webex, Google or whatever your preferred platform is. As the client, you will be required to set up the online presentation and CNB Safe will provide the email addresses for the speaker and relevant persons to invite to the online event.
We will require an online test meeting prior to the live event to ensure all the technology is working. This is also a great time to meet the speaker online prior to the live presentation.
You can live stream via a web-based platform to other attendees who are not able to attend in person. This needs to be organised by you, the client. The speaker will speak to the audience that is in front of them and do their best to also address the web camera for the live stream.
Live streaming will incur additional fees on top of the presentation rates.
Please note, we do not allow video filming of live face-to-face presentations.
Yes, you can record online and live stream presentations.
As you, the client will be hosting the online or live stream, it will be your responsibility to record the presentation on your web-based platform.
Recording of a presentation online or live streamed will incur additional fees on top of presentation rates.
Please note, we do not allow video filming of live face-to-face presentations.
The live stream/online recording is done in real time, all in the one take, from your chosen web-based platform (eg. Teams, Zoom, Webex, Google etc.) and is recorded directly from a laptop/computer in front of the speaker.
Video filming is done by an external third party via a camera, mobile phone, or your audiovisual department and is strictly not permitted under any circumstances.
We do not allow filming or recording of the face-to-face Speakers Presentations.
However, if you would like a tailored safety video presentation for your business please discuss this with your CNB Safe representative.
Yes, you will need to pay for your speaker’s travel, accommodation and any related expenses.
This can be managed one of two ways. First, you as the client can make all the bookings and pay for them directly. CNB Safe will provide all the relevant details. Alternatively, CNB Safe can make all the travel, accommodation and car hire booking requirements. All charges will incur an administrative charge on top of the cost and they will be included on total invoice.
Many of our speakers are happy to mingle with guests before or after an event, or, if appropriate, dine along with guests at the event.
However, as our speakers often have other engagements, this will need to be discussed and arranged when you first make your booking.
All our Speakers tell their own story in their own way, however in most instances it can be tailored to include some of the safety initiatives that you have in place at your workplaces.
A Speaker is the best way to reinforce all of the things that your business has already put in place. Speaker presentations can also be used to introduce a new safety initiative or program to a workplace.
Whether it is a tool box talk, an induction program, safety day, management, leadership meeting or safety conference our Speakers can share their message to any audience.
Taking photos during a presentation and afterwards is very welcome.
Our speakers may request a group photo after the presentation, we may then use then as part of our marketing and social media.
We can supply you with a copy of any photos taken at your business upon request.
We would love to include your photos taken on the day also so please email them to info@cnbsafe.com.au
CNB Safe Speakers encourage the use of social media at all our presentations.
We would love it if you tagged us in any social media posts about a Speaker visit. We will also share our experience with your business on our social media pages. Photos only.
